The Global War on Terror has ended. The Obama regime has downgraded the war to an “Overseas Contingency Operation.”

And Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano recently used the term “man-caused disaster” instead of terrorism, because “… it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear…”

Hallelujah! Safe at last, safe at last, the American people are safe at last!

What’s that, you say? There are people out there who still want to kill us?

You damn betcha there are!

The terms “Overseas Contingency Operation” and “man-caused disaster” are typical of the spineless and dangerously misleading politically correct terms that Democrat administrations have always tried to foist on the American public, not to mention the world.

It’s much like back in the day when officers were sent to family fights instead of “domestic disputes.” Upon arrival, however, no matter what phrase is used, officers still find a fight going on—not a butler or maid negotiating a salary raise.

While our politicians mince words, our enemies plainly state they want to wipe the Great Satan (that’s us, folks) from the face of the Earth. “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me” may have been true during recess in the third grade. In the real world, however, if words lull you into a false sense of security, they may wind up being the death of you.

According to experts quoted on the news, the Mullahs basically laughed at the You-Tube-type message Obama sent to Iran. In their minds it showed weakness—if not downright surrender.

North Korea keeps pushing the “resolve” of the United Nations by launching missiles. Going back to the third grade analogy, talking nice to the playground bully will not make him a nice guy—it will encourage him to become more brutal.

During the recent Obama World-Apology Tour, Obama told Europeans that Americans are arrogant, bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia, hugged dictator Hugo Chavez and told the Turks that America is not a Christian nation. Then there is the memo from Secretary Napolitano that says that pro-life activists, gun owners and returning veterans need to watched as “right wing extremists.” By the time you read this, the list of Obama-ocities will doubtless be much longer.

If it was up to me, we would not use phrases that imply to the rest of the world that we are weak-kneed. Don’t like the term Global War on Terror? OK, how about calling it the Global-We’ll-Kick-Your-Ass-If-You-Mess-With-Us Operation?

But I’m not the one calling the shots—the Dems are. While by nature we are a generous, peace-loving nation, I hope and pray that if we are threatened again, those in power will stand up and show those who would harm us that we aren’t going to take crap from anyone.

Until next time, stay low and watch your back
